Sraddhalu Ranade is a scientist, educator and scholar based at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, in Pondicherry, India, where he grew up in care of late Sri M P Pandit from whom he received his training in the theory and practice of the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.
He has been deeply involved in educational research and teacher-training programs for over 20 years, and has conducted intensive teacher-training workshops in Integral Education and value-based education all over India and abroad. Over the years more than 5000 teachers from over 220 schools and colleges all over India have benefited from these programmes. His book titled Introduction to Integral Education has been widely acclaimed and is considered compulsory reading in many schools.
He specialised in physics, mathematics and computer sciences integrating them seamlessly with his philosophical, metaphysical and spiritual studies. He has been involved in research projects including artificial intelligence based on neural networks, multimedia search and retrieval, image processing and video processing, and assorted simulation tools.
He has also been deeply involved software development and hardware design for over 25 years, and for about 10 years was engaged in media development including television programming.
He has travelled all over the world delivering lectures and conducting workshop on Integral Yoga, Integral Education, Management by Consciousness, esoteric sciences, self-development and spiritual practices, always integrating traditional Indian knowledge systems seamlessly with modern sciences and technologies.
He believes firmly that the world is transitioning into a new paradigm of living based on a new and a spiritual consciousness.
