Catherine Laugée

Catherine Laugée started yoga with Eva Ruchpaul (yoga teacher training at the IER 1991-1994), practised Iyengar yoga (2003-2009) and continued on the path of the eight limbs of yoga through a second teacher training at CEFYTO (2009-2012). Since then, she has met Jean Papin and his freedom of spirit and Marc-Alain Descamps and his teaching of the art of yoga, and continues in the tradition of the Silent Yogi of Madras with Walter Thirak Ruta and Marie Foucher-Bénédic. She shares the teachings received with her students in classes and seminars.
She is a member of the board of directors of the Fédération Inter-enseignements de Hatha Yoga (FIDHY), of which she was previously President (2013-2016). Delegate to the European Union of Yoga, she contributes in particular to communication, research and the EUY Spirituality Programme.

“Through the European Union of Yoga, the affiliated federations, their teacher training schools, their teachers and their members carry high the colours of a classical yoga, demanding, adapted to the contemporary world and in the diversity of currents represented.”
