A therapeutic yoga class focused on emotional holding back – Kei Kvarnstrom
This session gently explores how emotions are stored and suppressed in the body, with special attention on the neck and shoulders, areas where tension, unexpressed feelings, and ‘holding on’ often accumulate. Through conscious breathing with movement, and soft, compassionate presence, we create space for tension to release and emotions to begin flowing more freely.
This session is suitable for anyone who feels they have a stiff neck and senses that there might be more to it than just a physical sensation.
Kei Kvarnstrom completed a 500-hour teacher training in the T.K.V. Desikachar tradition in Stockholm and Tallinn in 2012, followed by a 4-year yoga therapy training programme with Dr. N. Chandrasekaran in Chennai, India. Since then she has continued deep studies on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, Vedic chanting, mantras, mudras, nyasa, and meditation. She is the founder, senior teacher and president of Eesti Jooga Liit (the Estonian Yoga Union).
