Amândio Figueiredo began practising Yoga and other oriental arts and practices in the 1960s and has been studying Ayurveda since the 1980s. He has travelled several times to India to deepen his knowledge of Ayurveda, Yoga and Yogatherapy and is a founding member of the European Ayurveda Association. He is the author of several books, including Ayurveda – Path to Health and Wellness and Yoga and Ayurveda – Conscious Self-Ecology.
