Dharma: a concept clarification – Koenraad Elst
67 67 people viewed this event.
Among the “four finalities of human life” (puruṣārtha, starting with Kāma, “desire, wish-fulfilment”, and Artha, “worldly success”), the third pillar is Dharma, “ethics”. It counts for everyone, and is distinct from Mokṣa, “liberation”, which becomes a concern from a certain stage on. We describe and explain the roots and fruits of Dharma and how it makes Mokṣa possible.
