Investigation into causality across lifetimes, whether or not as a reward for good deeds or a punishment for evil. We show how the oldest scriptures knew already of yoga and ātman before
learning of reincarnation and karma, and how the well-known retributive karma doctrine (one’s destiny as reward or punishment for past good and evil) is but a vulgar and inconsistent un-yogic version of what karma really means. So, what does karma really mean?
