François Lorin – IFY

Workshop in French
A progressive practical and theoretical sequence to explore several forms of intimacy with the breath.

I was born on September 10, 1941. My first stay in Madras with T.K.V. Desikachar took place in the autumn of 1966; I perfected with him the postural and respiratory techniques and the Yoga Sūtra of Patañjali until 1988. After graduating in Grimentz, I participated in the life of the Institute and its predecessor organisations (FFYV and VIA). The teachings that counted in my life: Jiddu Krishnamurti, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Stephen Jourdain, Richard Moss, Tony Parsons, Douglas Harding.
I am vice-president of the European Union of Yoga (UEY) since the congress in Zinal in August 2018.
