Karma and free will? – Ron van der Post
We are all just a bundle of atoms, protons, electrons, energy which give the consciousness the opportunity to work through this energy. For sure we are not this energy, but these are the instruments through which our consciousness can work. We are one consciousness which is impossible to separate. It’s just our mind who thinks we are separate, because we feel a lack from inside. We start to identify our self with this energy. On that moment separation which is in fact impossible is where we start to believe in. We all start to believe in individuality as the highest good, but we are looking for love, knowledge and recognition. And this we think we need from the world, from each other. In the mean times we are slave of our samskara’s, our hormones, our habits, our expectations, our past, our karma and our concept of thinking. How free are we?
