Kei Kvarnstrom

When I look back, I can say my yoga journey began 51 years ago and will continue until my final breath, and my path as a yoga teacher and therapist has evolved over more than 25 years.

In 2012, I completed a 500-hour teacher training in the T.K.V. Desikachar tradition in Stockholm and Tallinn, followed by a 4-year yoga therapy training programme with Dr. N. Chandrasekaran in Chennai, India. Since 2013, I have continued deep studies with Chandra Klee Cuffaro in Italy, focusing on yoga philosophy, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, Vedic chanting, mantras, mudras, nyasa, and meditation. I also have a background in infant and toddler physical education and aquatic therapy, and prenatal support, and I work in pediatric intensive care and spiritual counselling in rehabilitation. I am the founder, senior teacher and president of Eesti Jooga Liit (the Estonian Yoga Union). I lead weekly classes in Tallinn and create personalised practices to support physical and mental well-being.
